Management Team
Digital Healthcare's management team has extensive sector experience and is well
supported by its Board of Directors.
UK and EMEA
Kevin McDonnell, Managing Director
Kevin McDonnell is an honours graduate in Biological Sciences and started his career
conducting Heart and Neuroscience research for Guys Hospital. Kevin then joined
the Royal Free to manage their customer service department, later joining the Royal
College of Radiologists to manage IT service and infrastructure as an IT Manager.
Following this Kevin delivered several multi-million pound projects as lead consultant
to the government under the City Academy Programme whilst at Clarson Goff, later
helping to establish a new professional service and consulting Start-up Company.
Following the success of this business Kevin then joined JCOM to lead and manage
their professional services business unit as Principle Consultant. Kevin now manages
and develops Digital Healthcare's UK and EMEA businesses.
Nick Nightingale, Chief Technology Officer
Nick Nightingale is a First Class honours graduate in Physics from Durham University.
After early career roles as a Product Development Engineer for Astromed, a Senior
Scientist for Imation Research and a Technical Manager for PerkinElmer Life Sciences,
Nick joined Digital Healthcare in 2001 and has been instrumental in the development
of all of the Company's products. Nick currently holds the role of Chief Technology
Officer with World Wide responsibility for technology developments.
Andy Combes, Development Manager
Andy Combes is an honours graduate in Chemical Engineering and joined Digital Healthcare
in 2003 as a Senior Developer. Andy's previous experience was with Sanderson CFL
as an Analyst/Programmer, with Electronic Data Processing Ltd as a Web Developer
and with Poulternet Ltd and Clifford Thames Ltd as a Web Developer. In 2008 Andy
was promoted to the role of Development Manager where he now holds responsibility
for management of the Companies development resources.
Steve Butcher, Business Development Manager
Steve Butcher has been with Digital Healthcare since 2008 and is responsible for
all Sales, Marketing and Business Development activities for the Company outside
of the US. Steve has many years experience of Senior Business Development roles
in the IT sector including positions within the Misys Plc group, Huon Corporation
and Marlborough Stirling Ltd.
Ash Samad, Sales Manager
Ash Samad holds a MSc degree in Immunology having studied his first degree in
Biochemistry. Ash has spent over a decade working with the NHS and started
his career working at Research and Diagnostic Systems as a technical support
advisor for the laboratory reagents product range. Ash then joined In
Health Solutions as the Sales Manager for the Oncology and Palliative Care
software products. Ash spent 3 years at In Health Solutions significantly
establishing the customer base and ensuring the products conformed to national
minimum datasets. Ash joined Digital Healthcare in 2005 and manages the customer
base.
Andy Wilcox, Product Manager
Andy Wilcox is a graduate in Information Technology and joined Digital Healthcare as Product Manager in 2009 with responsibility for the definition and delivery of functionality within the Company's products. Andy's previous experience was with a Healthcare Technology company as the Product Manager for a range of products used in both the NHS and private healthcare to assist in the early diagnosis and management of skin cancer. Prior to that Andy worked for a variety of companies including Cambridge University and UUNET in senior roles.
Hazel Reed, Operations Director
After a number roles in Service Delivery and Client Service Management with NCR,
Synavant, Dendrite, and Cyres, Hazel Reed joined Digital Healthcare in 2006 as Customer
Support Manager and is now responsible for day to day management of Help Desk resources, project implementations
and delivery of support services to Digital Healthcare Customers based on contracted
Service Level Agreements.
Jennifer O'Reilly, QA Manager
Jennifer O'Reilly is a graduate in Sports Engineering and joined Digital Healthcare
as a Quality Assurance Engineer in 2007. Jennifer's previous experience was with
a large government agency under the umbrella of DEFRA (Department for Environment
and Rural Food Affairs) as the Lead Tester for a nationwide three year project to
allow landowners applications for Environmental Schemes to be electronically stored.
In 2008 Jennifer was promoted to the role of Quality Assurance Manager where she
now holds the responsibility for the management of the companies Quality Assurance
and testing resources.
USA
Marc Winchester, President (Digital Healthcare Inc.)
Marc has over 20 years experience in Healthcare IT having spent that time with Medic
Computer Systems and later Misys Healthcare Systems. He held a variety of executive
positions including Sr.VP of Sales and Marketing where he was responsible for over
$100M in revenue. Marc is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill.
Scott Sanner, Senior Vice President, North American Operations (Digital Healthcare
Inc.)
Scott Sanner has twenty years of experience growing sales for small entrepreneurial
and large established businesses in Healthcare IT. He has served as Marketing Director,
Vice President of EMR Sales, Vice President of Sales and Services and General Manager
for $1B+ publicly traded Misys Healthcare Systems. Scott is a graduate of the ICM
Business School.
Frank Waterhouse, Company Secretary and Finance Director
Frank has over 20 years of Financial Director experience in Information Technology
with over 10 of those years in the Healthcare sector in the US. Frank joined Digital
Healthcare in 2007 to assume the role of Financial Director and Company Secretary.
Frank is based in the Company's offices in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
